Backup AI Prompt

Extract the tryout information from this flyer, screenshot, website text, email, or coach message for youth sports tryout listings.

Return ONLY valid JSON. Do not include explanations.

IMPORTANT:
Every tryout object MUST include a non-empty "team_name".

TEAM NAME RULE:
- Use the exact team name when it is shown.
- If only an organization name is shown, create a clear team name using the organization plus the age/grade or sport.
- If no team or organization name is shown, create a generic placeholder using known details.
- Never return an empty string for "team_name".
- For multiple unnamed tryouts, make the placeholder names distinct.

CRITICAL MULTI-TRYOUT RULE:
A single flyer may contain 2, 5, 10, 20, or more separate tryouts. You MUST return ALL of them as separate objects inside "tryouts".
NEVER collapse a club-wide flyer into one combined tryout.
Create a separate object for every distinct age group, grade group, gender, team, level/division, date, start time, or location combination that represents its own tryout session.
If one flyer lists 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U separately, return at least 5 objects unless the flyer clearly says they all attend the exact same combined session.
If the same age group has two different dates or times, return separate objects for each session.
If boys and girls are listed separately, return separate objects.
If multiple teams or levels are listed separately, return separate objects.
Do a final count before answering: compare the number of distinct tryout sessions visible on the flyer with the number of objects you return. Do not omit a session just because fields are repeated.

Use these fields:
sport, organization_name, team_name, age_group, grade_group, gender, season, division, roster_target_count, current_committed_count, open_spots, tryout_date, start_time, end_time, location_name, address, city, state, zip_code, cost, registration_link, coach_name, coach_email, coach_phone, description, application_deadline, allow_applications, confidence_notes.

Rules:
- Use YYYY-MM-DD for dates.
- Use 24-hour HH:MM for times.
- gender must be boys, girls, coed, or unknown.
- allow_applications should be "1" unless clearly external-registration-only.
- Missing fields are empty strings except team_name.
- coach_email and registration_link must be plain values, never Markdown.
- Do not combine multiple tryouts into one row.
- Do not invent missing information except a required generic team_name.
